Crusty patches on nipple after breast lift 20 days post MM. Is this dry skin or something else? (photos)

This is a great question since so many things are going on with the healing process.  The pictures do tend to indicate dry skin but the safest thing to do is always check with your surgeon to make sure you are progressing through the stages of healing appropriately.

While based on your photos it does look like dry skin, an in-person examination is needed for a proper assessment. Be sure to discuss your concerns with your surgeon.

I would recommend checking back in with your surgeon. It doesn’t appear to be anything terribly concerning, but there can be a lot of changes to the skin surrounding incisions in the early post-operative period. Good luck and congratulations!

Congratulations on your surgery! These patches are likely just dry skin.  Your body is going through a lot of changes as you heal from surgery.  It is best to have the areas evaluated by your surgeon just to be safe.
