Hello, I have these crusty patches on my nipples after my surgery. I noticed them at 20dpo. My skin is very dry on my breast and stomach (also had TT) and I am wondering if these crusty patches are dry skin or something else starting. As you can see from pic the patches are a little darker than nipple color. I don’t have discharge and my nipple incision site is absolutely outstanding.

Answer: Crusty patches Dear carriesmakeover2018,I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment it would be difficult to determine what is wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment. Only after thorough examination you can get proper recommendations and advice.Daniel Barrett, MD Certified, American Board of Plastic Surgery Member, American Society of Plastic Surgery Member, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery

Answer: Dry Skin After Mommy Makeover I would recommend checking back in with your surgeon. It doesn’t appear to be anything terribly concerning, but there can be a lot of changes to the skin surrounding incisions in the early post-operative period. Good luck and congratulations!
