Is it possible to completely eliminate my back rolls or because of my size will they only be reduced? Can my lumps on my hips also be eliminated-if so, is this part of my abdomen or does it count as a whole other part of the body? I understand lipo is typically for those closer to their ideal body weight, although I have already lost 40 lbs and enjoy my curvy shape. I just want to reduce and eliminate some areas.
Answer: Fuller figured women do great with liposuctions. I would recommend 3 lipo procedures which can all be done in the same week so recovery is quicker. 1 would be upper/lower abdomen and hips, another would be midback armpits and arms and the 3rd would be thighs. It is done all under local with a little iv sedation for comfort and you are back to work in 2-3 days.

Answer: Curvy size 16, hoping to eliminate some problem areas It is always difficult to determine if back roles will completely resolve with liposuction. Although the presence of good skin tone is a good predictor that they will completely resolve, I have been surprised that some patients with skin that I felt was quite loose tightened up more than I expected. Back skin in general is the thickest skin of the body and the dermis maintains elasticity much longer skin elsewhere on the body. If one has lost 40 pounds already, the skin may be a bit looser. The bottom line is that there is no guarantee that a mid back skin role will completely resolve with aggressive liposuction, on the other hand usually very significant gains can be made and there are no other real alternatives that do not require a large unsightly scar. The same can be seen when treating hips. Quality of the skin is the best indicator. There are stretch marks, this makes liposuction bit more difficult with an increased risk of contour irregularities
