Yes you can save fat for future date when you do a procedure like VASER liposuction and Body Jet for fat removal.  I suggest you see an expert who does a significant amount of body contouring procedures and uses PRP/puregraft for the harvesting/transfer.  Best, Dr. Emer.

Currently, it is not possible to get your fat removed and stored based on FDA standards. Hopefully this will change soon as it is medically possible to grow and save your fat for transfer at a later date.

You cannot keep fat alive after it has been frozen.   You an inject thawed fat for a very temporary improvement but the results will be very short lived because the fat is not alive.

Immediate purification and fat transfer is more ideal than saving the harvested fats for later use.  The goal is to achieve a survival rate of at least 70 percent.  (Take note that not all of the injected fats will survive; hence, most surgeons slightly over correct the procedure.)

The longer the fats are stored, the more percentage of them would die.
