He just had me stop taking my ibuprofen 2 weeks prior to surgery . Is the hormones pills what cause my blood clot? I'm My very healthy had prior surgeries and never had any medical issues.

Answer: Deep vein thrombosis in liposuction. The risks for deep vein thrombosis during liposuction should be very very small. Most patients are moved around during the case. I don't see any reason to stop birth control pills prior to liposuction unless there is some other thrombotic issue.
