Revision surgery two years post op - nose looks fatter and is asymmetrical - how can this be improved?

I had my rhynoplasty two ago last March. My nose looks fatter and one side is different in size. I am very self concious and hoped it was swelling and it would improve with time but it has not. My surgeon did’nt do any follow up after the cast was removed and now l know l chooses the wrong surgeon. I can feel there is scar tissue inside the nose and l am not sure what can be done? Any advice

Hello and thank you for your question. Based on your photograph, you may benefit from a revision rhinoplasty. A surgeon can accomplish this by trimming, suturing, and reshaping the cartilage in your lower nose. Fascial grafts may also be used to help improve tip refinement. Your nostril symmetry can be improved at the same time. Make sure you are going to a surgeon with hundreds of long-term before and after pictures on their website with standardized lighting and standardized backgrounds. With good surgical technique, you could have an outstanding result. I recommend that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified rhinoplasty surgeon who can evaluate you in person.
