Eighty-four pound weight loss - do I need an FDL tummy tuck? (Photos)

Age 46 non smoker lost 84 pounds. Have been advised FDL tummy tuck woule be best. Can anyone confirm this based off my photos many thanks

In my experience, FDL would give you the flattest abdomen and tightest waist.. Trade off would be T up and down, across waist scars. Keep in mind, not all plastic surgeons perform this operation.

If you don’t want the midline vertical scar, you may be able to get by with an extended, traditional tummy tuck with only the waistline scar. There may be some slight skin laxity leftover as compared to the FDL.

An exam and consultation with a plastic surgeon who performs these procedures is recommended to confirm you are a candidate as well as discuss your options and expectations.
