Hi I had tummy tuck abroad last March and I feel my belly button looks strange, is there anything I can do to help this without any procedures. Thank you

If you are unhappy with its appearance, an umbilical revision, also known as an umbilicoplasty, can help improve it.

An umbilicoplasty is a relatively straightforward procedure that can be performed under local anesthesia in a plastic surgeon’s office. The procedure involves making precise incisions around the belly button to reshape it. In your case, the hooding at the upper portion of the belly button can be corrected, and a more aesthetically pleasing, circular "inny" belly button can be created.

If the belly button’s current appearance is your only concern, this minor revision should address it effectively. You might also consider combining the umbilicoplasty with another procedure if you’re planning additional surgeries, such as breast, arm, or facial surgery, to minimize recovery time.
