Dear Emmie Pena, thank you for sharing your question. After analyzing your case I can say you're a good candidate for Lipoin your flanks + Scar revision. Hi there and Happy New Year! It happens to most patients but there is a way to revise the scar under local anaesthesia . Perhaps you could have a resolution to loose a few pounds and have fat freezing to the sides of your tummy where the scar ends, to sculpt the waist. Beautiful tattoo by the way! All the bst with your journey
The only thing wrong with your result is that the scar has widened. This is not uncommon and is simple to revise.
Dear Emmie Pena,I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what went wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice.Daniel Barrett, MDCertified, American Board of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery
From your photo it appears you would benefit from a scar revision and addressing the excess skin at the hip area. Liposuction can be performed to better sculpt your results. See a board certified plastic surgeon near you to learn more.
It appears that where the skin was tight the scar has widened. Liposuction of the excess fat and removal of the scar should offer improvement. Some patient scar poorly after surgery. In my practice we use scar gels and silicon and pressure with garments to try to improve scarring.
Dear Emmie,Preop photos as well as photos with several angles: standing front, both side views and a back view would help answering your questions. You would certainly do well with Lipo-360. This would flatten both the front and your sides giving you a much nicer waist line.Best wishes.Dr. Taranow
YES! The total TT scar can be revised along with bilateral dog ear deformities and liposuction 360. Fee $10,000 ranges. Best to obtain virtual consultations with private practice boarded PSs.
To assess the outcome of a procedure patient should post proper before and after pictures. The before pictures are important to assess the potential outcome from the procedure.Patients were unhappy with the outcomes need to describe what they don’t like in order for us to assess what can or cannot be done to improve the results. Some people genetically form highly visible scars because of scar hypertrophy, hyper pigmentation or a combination of both. There are a few treatment options that can improve house scars heal after surgery.Fullness on the sides continue one to the backside it’s common if people had continued skin laxity on more than just the front of the abdomen. When that’s the case patients should either have extended tummy tucks or consider revising the tummy tuck with continued skin removal from the sides and back.It would help if you could describe what you don’t like about the outcome.Weight gain typically worsen aesthetic outcomes from these procedures.Best,Mats Hagstrom MD
Hello, And thank you for the question. Based on your photos, you are a good candidate for liposuction of flanks or Vaser liposuction to help improve the contour of the abdomen and flanks. I would encourage you to seek a consultation with a Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon to further discuss your...
An in person examination is needed to determine the nature of the bulge that concerns you. If it is primarily fat, then the area can be improved with liposuction. If it is loose skin, further excision will help. Visit with a board certified plastic surgeon for an evaluation.
Your concern is a very specific problem that can only be addressed in person after a thorough physical examination and review of the operative report to see what type of mesh was used and how the mesh was used to fix or repair the abdominal muscles. I would recommend that you seek out a second...
