I'm trying to determine which procedure would give me the best results in correcting the asymmetry in my nose: a Rhinoplasty or a Non-Surgical Nose Job? I heard the Non-Surgical Nose Job procedure is much cheaper but I'm not sure if it would be enough to straighten out my crooked nose.
Answer: Nonsurgical rhinoplasty to fix a crooked nose Thanks for the question and photos. Nonsurgical rhinoplasty refers to the use of fillers in the nose to change its shape. In my practice, Restylane Lyft and Voluma are used most commonly. The results typically last 1-2 years or longer. If a nose is crooked, filler can be placed on the side that is indented to make it appear more like the other side. Filler under the base of the nostril can help straighten a tip as well. Additional uses for filler in the nose include making a bridge taller, hiding a small hump, and lifting/defining the tip. I’d suggest consultations with 2-3 surgical rhinoplasty specialists who also perform nonsurgical rhinoplasty. That way you can find out the advantages and disadvantages of each. Computer imaging may be very helpful.

Answer: Your nose does not appear crooked in the photographs posted. Many times, a crooked nasal appearance may be corrected with injectable fillers. For instance, if there is an indentation along somebody's nasal side wall causing a C shaped nasal appearance, by adding volume to the concave side, this may result in nasal straightening. Answer: Non Surgical Rhinoplasty I think that the external changes you desire can be accomplished with a filler. If internally your septum is deviated it will not be helped by fillers. Please see a Board certified ENT & Facial Plastic Surgeon to address all your concerns.

Answer: Improving a crooked nose with a non-surgical nose-job Hi and thanks for your question. I don't consider your nose to be extremely asymmetric. I think that you would be a good candidate for the 5 Minute Nose Job procedure. Improving the symmetry of your nose should be relatively easy, permitting it to blend in with the rest of your face.

Answer: Nose irregularities. From you picture it is clear that your concerns can be easily addressed with the use of a filler. I always use a permanent filler in these cases such as Bellafil and that way it is a one time procedure without the need for further treatments. Good luck

Among the permanent fillers are FDA approved, Bellafill ® or fat transfer (which, of course, comes from your own body). Fillers will rarely improve nasal obstruction or make the nose smaller. For a life long result, a rhinoplasty is still generally the gold standard. Recommend an in person consult with a board certified plastic surgeon specializing in rhinoplasty to discuss your options.
