Why am I getting excruciating cramps now Years after my lipo surgery? (photo)

Question

I had lipo 8years ago. A scar started to apear 5years after.. (infection scar) My doctor had told me to massage it and put maderma gel for the scaring and if it doesn’t go away we’d try Surgery. But why is it giving me cramps now ??? Should I be alarmed?

This is unlikely due to your liposuction. If it persists, I recommend getting a formal evaluation with your Doctor. The scar can be improved with lasers and microneedling/prp. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer
