I'm thirty years old and having rhinoplasty in a few weeks. My blood pressure likes to camp out at 140/90. I also have high cholesterol. Other than these issues, I'm healthy and active. Is this surgery typically safe for patients with higher blood pressure?

Answer: Rhinoplasty Hello and thank you for your question. Congratulations on your upcoming surgery. The best advice you can receive is from an in-person consultation. You should review your medical history with your primary physician and make sure your blood pressure and other aspects of your health are optimized prior to surgery. Best wishes and good luck. Answer: Rhinoplasty Having borderline high blood pressure does not prohibit one from having rhinoplasty surgery. Your blood pressure will be controlled during surgery and there are numerous medications after surgery to control it should it be necessary.
