Revision or quick fix? (Photo)

I would recommend a complete revision tip rhinoplasty. There is too much going on with the tip with respect to skin contour issues, cartilage irregularities, graft show and nostril asymmetry. I would recommend finding a surgeon certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery with experience in complex rhinoplasty issues. This surgeon ideally has also completed a fellowship accredited by the Aesthetic Society.

We have had excellent success permanently camouflaging indentations in the nasal tip, and nasal cleft, after previous rhinoplasty surgery. We prefer to use silicon 1000, a permanent filler. I hope this helps. Sincerely, Dr. Joseph

Hello and thank you for your question. Based on your photographs, a more involved procedure will be much more beneficial for you. You have some clefting and indentation of the infralobular tip as well as alar retraction and a hanging columella. A formal Revision could improve all of these areas. With good surgical technique, you could have an outstanding result. I recommend that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified rhinoplasty surgeon who can evaluate you in person.
