I had a rhinoplasty 2 years ago. Overall I am happy with the result, however there is an indent and a bump on the cartilage on one side. I have discussed it with my surgeon and he does not think a revision is needed but he offered to shave down the bump on that one side. Should mention that alar rim grafts were done and this bump was present in the post op pictures. My nose deviates to one side slightly and the right nostril is smaller. I’m nervous that shaving the cartilage will enhance this.
