I am 45. Twenty years ago after having 3 children I had liposuction and then had it again a few years later. After the second lipo I developed fibrosis and irregularities. I also have laxity only in the upper portion of my abdomen.
Answer: Reverse tummy tuck Dear lipo75, it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. If you are considering surgery, I would suggest you consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination, you will get more information and recommendations. Answer: Reverse tummy tuck (only moon incisions under boob) and micro fat grafting fpr fibrosis and liposuction irregularities? Hello @lipo75, thank you for your question and showing your picture. Exercise and weights improve muscle structure, but the quality of the skin depends on other factors, and in your case, flaccidity may be noticeable. In addition there are some post-Liposuction irregularities. I recommend using laser technology and TID in order to improve and regularize the tissue and generate more contraction in the skin. You can also opt for some non-surgical treatments such as Radiesse and Ulthera to gradually improve the skin. For a proper assessment I suggest you consult one or several board certified plastic surgeon for more information and options. Best wishes! Alan Gonzalez MD FACS

Answer: Abdomen I do not recommend the reverse tummy tuck since it often pulls your breast down. However, minimally invasive skin tightening with radiofrequency like ThermiTight may be very helpful to tighten your skin.

Answer: Reverse tummy tuck The reverse tummy tuck is an unpopular operation and rarely performed for good reason. Disguise tend to be fairly unacceptable and the procedure lacks merit and its ability to accomplish what a full tummy tuck can do with a far more acceptable scar. there are individual plastic surgeons who still perform this procedure but the great majority understand its inherent limitations and don’t do it. Fat transfer to correct previously done liposuction can be done but it is difficult and requires someone with immense skill and talent and may require multiple sessions. In the end your best bet is the focus your efforts unfinding the most talented and experienced provider who has the most impressive collection of before and after pictures and let that person guide you through what is the best approach to improving your body. Correct and poorly done Liposuction is extremely difficult and should only be done by someone who has clearly mastered primary liposuction and fat transfer. Choose providers by having exclusively in person consultations. During each consultation ask each provider to show their entire collection of before and after pictures for the procedure you’re interested in. being shown a handful of sample pictures which must likely represent the best results of the providers career is insufficient to get a clear understanding of what average results look like in the hands of each provider. And experience provider should have no difficulty showing you at least 50 sets of before and after pictures of common procedures like abdominal liposuction or a tummy tuck. Ask the providers to show you as many pictures as possible of patients with similar body characteristics to your own. You may also ask them to show you examples of excellent outcomes, average outcomes in less than outcomes. Highly experienced surgeons will have hundreds or even thousands of before and after pictures of commonly performed procedures. For tummy tuck results looks specifically at who gets the most natural looking belly buttons. this tends to be the hardest part of the procedure and surgeons who can consistently get natural looking belly buttons typically get all aspects of the procedure correct. Other aspects of well done tummy tucks include a very low set scar that follows anatomic contours naturally leaving the torso looking good from all angles including from behind. I also recommend reading all reviews on various physician review websites avoiding providers with any significant number of justified negative reviews. The absence of justified negative reviews is more important and more telling than having an abundance of positive reviews. If someone recommends a reverse tummy tuck then go through the same process though you may have a hard time finding someone who can show you that many before and after pictures of a reverse tummy tuck. it simply is not a commonly performed procedure and there’s a good reason for it. Anything that works well consistently becomes incorporated as the standard of care by the entire plastic surgery community. While your situation is somewhat unique it is not different enough that’s standard procedures are still the way to go. In the end finding the right provider is probably more important than any other decision. Best, Mats Hagstrom MD
