Thank you for your questions and photos. It appears that your liposuction resulted in loose skin. I feel that only a skin removal will improve the appearance of your abdomen. An in person evaluation would be needed to make a definitive recommendation, but I do feel that any intervention short of skin removal would fail to improve the look of your abdomen.
Hi, thank you for sharing your question. Excess skin laxity can happen after liposuction. In order to give you the best advice, an in person evaluation is needed. Your options may include a tummy tuck. Discuss your concerns with your plastic surgeon. I hope this helps.

Thank you for your question. A tummy tuck will address excess skin & repair of the abdominal muscle. The abdominal wall can be weakened after pregnancy and (or) significant weight gain & loss. By repairing the muscle, not only does the appearance of your abdominal area improve, but your core strength as well. The repair of the muscle will cinch your waist like an inner corset, which will accentuate your curves. Liposuction will remove excess fat from unwanted areas with some skin retraction. Your expectations and health will dictate the best procedure(s) for you. I suggest a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon to go over the options that best address your goals. Thank you for your questions. It does appear that you have a moderate amount of skin laxity following your liposuction/fat harvest. Skin does contract back a great deal the first 6-8 weeks following 'debulking.' If you are within that time frame, I would recommend wearing compression to the abdomen until you are 6-8 weeks post surgery. It is very likely that you will need a tummy tuck to remove the excess skin.
The result fall is substandard not because of how the liposuction was done, but because you were not a good candidate for liposuction without a tummy tuck. Find a qualified surgeon in your area. UK? (We don't weigh people in stones in the US., even though your tag says California.)
It looks like you had a mini tummy tuck but clearly should have had a full tummy tuck. You can have your result redone as a full tummy tuck and the result will be much better
In person exam is essential as well as review of the op-report. Based on limited photos, it appears that you are a candidate for a full tummy tuck. Liposuction alone - only removes the fat, it does not treat the excess skin.
Thank you for sharing your question. Based on our preoperative photographs demonstrating some skin laxity and stretch marks, this outcome could likely have been expected as the fat removal resulted in further deflation of the skin leading to wrinkling. This can be treated but will require a tummy tuck.
You have excess hanging skin which can occur after liposuction. However, you will need a tummy tuck to correct this degree of excess skin.Best Wishes,Gary Horndeski, M.D.
The tummy tuck is a massive procedure that reconstruct your entire abdominal wall. It leaves people with a very different sensation of their torso which takes a long time for some to get used to. It’s not uncommon to have areas of pain and tenderness particularly with different motions like s...
Thank you for your question regarding if your crease will go away after your tummy tuck and wound opening. In my opinion, I do not think the crease will go away on its own. This needs surgical intervention. There is a crease on your right hip just above your scar. There is also a dog ear on the...
I am afraid the only correction is to plicate the fascia in the area of the injury to flatten the contour there. This would involve opening the abdominoplasty incision again to expose the area unfortunately.
