How long does Restylane Silk last in the nose?

Silk is not the ideal nose filler because it lacks stiffness and it's not as long lasting as other fillers. It depends on your goals, but usually thicker fillers are used for the nose, such as Restylane Lyft or Radiesse. 

Thanks for your good question. Restylane Silk is a soft, smooth filler that tends to work best on delicate areas like the lips and under the eyes. This product would be unlikely to give you the positive changes in the nose you want. That said, there are other excellent fillers we use for non-surgical rhinoplasty, including products in the Restylane and Juvederm line. Results usually last anywhere from six months to a year, depending on the amount used, the specific treatment area and the speed at which your body absorbs the hyaluronic acid in the mix. Make sure you are working with a board-certified cosmetic dermatologist who has performed many non-surgical rhinoplasty procedures to ensure the best possible outcome. 

Thank you for your question about Restylane silk in for liquid rhinoplasty/nose job.  Restylane silk is not a filler I would recommend for liquid nose job.  It is a very soft filler mainly used in lips and areas where softness and fullness are needed.  When doing a liquid nose job we will often choose fillers with more stability and lifting ability, such as Juvederm Voluma or Restylane Lyft.  


To be sure, see two or more experienced, licensed and board-certified providers in your area for a complete evaluation to make sure you are a good candidate and that it is safe for you to have treatment.

What are your concerns with your nose? Restylane Silk is not a very good choice for a non-surgical nose job as it doesn't give enough volumization for this area. In general, I have found Restylane Silk to last about 6-9 months depending on where it is injected. Make sure you are under the care of an experienced physician provider as injecting the nose requires advanced technique to minimize risk of complications. Best wishes.

I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist to go over your desired results. Facial fillers (voluma, restylane, juvederm) along with Botox can be used to improve the symmetry of the nose and lift the tip, restylane in the nose typically last about 1 year. Thank you for your question. I would not recommend using Restylane Silk in the nose area. Restylane Silk is best used on the lips and areas that need additional volume. Dermal fillers such Juvederm and Restylane Lyft would be idea for a non-surgical nose contouring.  I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a specialist. 

Restylane Silk is not a filler I would recommend when treating the nose. I prefer Restylane and Restylane Lyft which are thicker and stiffer fillers which are better for the nose.
