We do not store syringes for patients, plain and simple. Once the syringe is opened, it is used that day and discarded.
Two weeks might be too long. However, I do not "save" any fillers for patients because there's a higher risk of infection once the sterile packaging is open. Speak with your injector before any treatments.Best wishes, Dr. ALDO
Thank you for your question! Two weeks might be too long. However, I do not "save" any fillers for patients because there's a higher risk of infection once the sterile packaging is open. Speak with your injector before any treatments. Best of luck!
Thank you for your question. We do not recommend saving syringes, it is best to do the entire syringe on the day of the procedure. But since you have some remaining it would be best to use within 4-6 weeks Please consult a local board certified facial plastic surgeon for more information and a comprehensive consultation
Fillers should never be stored for future use. There is potential for bacterial growth since the needle and syringe had already come into contact with you face or lips. Most professionals will keep extra filler on hand for touch ups, free of charge.
Thank you for your question. A Restylane Silk syringe should last for two years. Please make sure you seek treatment from a board-certified dermatologist.
Thank you for your question. We do not inject partial syringes of filler. It would be too difficult to maintain an inventory of partial syringes by patient and all the problems that may come from this policy. That being said, I would contact the physician who performed your procedure and ask him what their policy is for partial syringe injections. I hope this was helpful - Dr. Moore
It is not recommended to store filler product after it has been used. There is always a risk of contamination or using the wrong syringe for the wrong patient.
Thank you for sharing your question. Once a syringe of any filler is opened, I will use it during one setting. I don't think it is safe to open a syringe, partially use it, and save the rest for later since there is a risk for infection. This is the current standard of care. Please make sure to see board certified injectors who have experience in the condition or area you would like treated. Good luck!
the expiration date is listed on the box next to the lit number , your physician should have this information
Under eye hollows are tough. It is sometimes over correction and has to be reversed, but swelling is common because HA fillers draw water. I like PRP under the eyes, but the look takes time. Hope this helps. JB
It's hard to tell from the photo what exactly is going on, but I can see a sore on your lip. This can be treated and possibly prevented in the future with antiviral therapy. I suggest a second opinion with an experienced injector about your results.Best wishes, Dr. ALDO :)
Thank you for your question about Restylane Silk for lip injections. Restylane Silk is a wonderful option for lip fillers, along with Juvederm Vollure and Volbella. I typically advise starting with 1 ml, then wait approximately 3 weeks for all swelling resolve. Reassess at the 3 week mark to...
Thank you for your question about swelling after lip injections with Restylane Silk. It is very common to have anywhere from mild to significant swelling after injections with hyaluronic acid fillers to lips. HA fillers are very hydrophilic and hold onto water and fluid like a sponge. Thi...
Hello Montana.Your swelling is significant and not unusual. I usually recommend lots of icing and to avoid massage with Silk. You can speak with your injector about your concerns and see if they approve Arnica to reduce the swelling.Best wishes,
Asymmetric lip swelling after fillers could be a hematoma or bruising within the soft tissues of the lip or could be asymmetric placement of the fillers. Swelling is common after fillers to the lips, and typically gets worse the day after the injections are performed. NSAIDs are not recommended ...
