It's been 3 months since I got my fillers in my tear trough (restalyne silk).I feel like I have excess filler and I'm too scared to get it dissolved because I have heard horror stories will my face go back to normal or will the skin around the eye be stretched out?
Answer: Need to come in to consult For unique cases where a variety of modalities could be used to treat the condition, I would suggest an in-person or virtual consultation to develop a custom and effective treatment plan. It is difficult to precisely define the best option without collecting the same information. I suggest reaching out to an expert for a consultation with surgical and non-surgical methods to get a comprehensive option. Best, Dr. Emer.

Answer: 3 months swollen.. Thank you so much for this question. It's possible you have too much product or your swollen. I suggest you have an exam by your injector. If there's inflammation with your filler causing injection, I suggest you consider dissolving. If it's over-correcttion, then consider dissolving as well. Good luck. Dr. ALDO

Answer: Will excess filler dissolve? Excess filler will eventually dissolve.Sometimes it can be masked with additional filler or in some cases may require removal with hyaluronidase. The skin around the eye usually doesn't stretch that much with filler as to make removal unwarranted.Happy Holidays.

Answer: Dissolving Excess Filler Hi and thank you for your question! Injection of filler under eyes requires high level of expertise and to achieve uniform and natural looking results without overfilling the area, additional injections in adjacent areas are commonly needed. Regardless, if you are not happy with the results, excess filler can be easily dissolved with enzyme and when done carefully, there is no risk. I have treated thousands of patients with fillers under eyes and commonly see patients referred to me for revision of fillers with enzyme and have never seen the complications you mentioned, so as long as you work with an experienced cosmetic doctor, you should be fine. I hope it helps and good luck!

Answer: Restylane Silk You probably received too much filler in that area. Dissolving some of that will help. I believe Restylane Silk draws too much water, so I would use less. I also like using Restylane Refyne and PRP (platelet rich plasma) under the eye. Hope this is helpful. JB
