Answer: Will I need a lift if I remove my breast implants? Many women will require a lift after removal of breast implants, especially if they have had large implants present for a long time. The nipple position can be expected to drop when the implants are removed, as well. The degree to which tissues have stretched will vary from woman to woman, so some women chose to have implants simply removed as the first stage, and then decide whether or not they want a lift or smaller implants placed at a second stage.

Answer: Explant with Bellesoma Method Unfortunately, you have not provided photographs or told us your bra size. However, just removing your implants will result in hanging skin. I recommend explantation with lift using The Bellesoma Method. The implants are removed, your breast tissue is reshaped creating upper pole fullness, elevated higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation (in 95%) and the ability to breast feed are maintained if not injured during your previous surgery. Later, fat transfers can be performed if additional volume is desired. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.
