Removal of 530cc breast implants: will my natural breasts sag once removed?

Thank you for your question. 530 cc are quite large implants and depending on your current anatomical features, it is very likely that your natural breasts will look stretched and will sag if you remove them.
Should this be the case, you might want to consider a mastopexy/breast lift, to improve the shape.

The best advice is to go and see the surgeon who operated on you originally and discuss your options.

I believe that the best possible result for an explantation is to remove the prostheses, remove the capsules, and perform a breast reconstruction with the BRALAN technique (Breast Reconstruction Anatomical Lift Augmentation) that way the breast won't sag or look deflated. Many women will require a lift after removal of breast implants, especially if they have had large implants present for a long time. The nipple position can be expected to drop when the implants are removed, as well. The degree to which tissues have stretched will vary from woman to woman, so some women chose to have implants simply removed as the first stage, and then decide whether or not they want a lift or smaller implants placed at a second stage.

Unfortunately, you have not provided photographs or told us your bra size. However, just removing your implants will result in hanging skin. I recommend explantation with lift using The Bellesoma Method. The implants are removed, your breast tissue is reshaped creating upper pole fullness, elevated higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation (in 95%) and the ability to breast feed are maintained if not injured during your previous surgery. Later, fat transfers can be performed if additional volume is desired.

it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. You can get implant removal now and wait to see the final results. Later you can decide do you need a breast lift or not. If you are considering surgery, I would suggest you consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination, you will get more information and recommendations.

The simple answer is that removal of large implants such as yours usually requires a lift or there will be unacceptable sagging. However, a specific answer for your situation would require more details, measurements, and ideally an in-person evaluation.

Without photos or an examination it's hard to say, but you certainly may need a lift. The large implants may have stretched your skin to the point that when they are removed, the breasts will sag. Visit with a board certified plastic surgeon near you for an evaluation.

The large implants you have now have stretched and thinned your own tissue, so no, you will not look like you did prior to surgery. With removal, you will have extra skin and will need a lift. You might consider going down in size and lifting if needed. Remember, you were not happy with your breasts prior to implants and may not be happy once implants are removed. You might do much better with implants around 300 to 350 cc's in size.

Simple answer is yes. You may need a lift. But hard to say without pictures to see and a full in person exam. Best to see a board certified plastic surgeon for a good exam. On an exam i usually can feel how much breast tissue you have but most of the time with that big of an implant…your skin has stretched and you would benefit from a lift. The lift helps restore the natural shape of the breast…scars do fade.
