I got a breast lift and implants over 1 1/2 years ago. I had to go back in for a revision because I had extra skin that had to be removed. I usually heal really well. These scars are so bad, I’m not sure what to do now.

From your photos it appears you are a candidate for a scar revision.  During this procedure the widened scar tissue is removed in an effort to improve the result.  I've included a video on scar revision that I hope you find helpful.

Hi Jordan,
We don't always know why scars widen, but in this case it was likely because your skin is thin and there was tension on the skin when it was closed. I typically tell my patients to wait a full two years prior to any scar revisions. The good thing is they are very light. I suggest some microneedling or a skin pen to try to help with the texture. Breast augmentation/mastopexy is considered by many to be the most challenging operation in plastic surgery.  It brings to the table the risks of 2 separate operations, and 2 contradictory forces; the skin stretching force of breast augmentation and the skin tightening force of breast lifting.  Sometimes, the skin stretching force (somewhat dependent on breast implant size), wins out and the scars, which are the weakest areas of the skin, stretch out.  An option might be to downsize your breast implants a little and revise the scars.  Have the discussion with your surgeon and good luck!
