I got a breast lift and implants over 1 1/2 years ago. I had to go back in for a revision because I had extra skin that had to be removed. I usually heal really well. These scars are so bad, I’m not sure what to do now.

Answer: Breast augmentation/mastopexy Dear jordanrsmith, Breast augmentation/mastopexy is considered by many to be the most challenging operation in plastic surgery. It brings to the table the risks of 2 separate operations, and 2 contradictory forces; the skin stretching force of breast augmentation and the skin tightening force of breast lifting. Sometimes, the skin stretching force (somewhat dependent on breast implant size), wins out and the scars, which are the weakest areas of the skin, stretch out. An option might be to downsize your breast implants a little and revise the scars. Have the discussion with your surgeon and good luck!
