Hi, thank you for sharing your question. In my opinion, the liposuction and fat grafting should be done before the mommy makeover. This will allow for better outcomes in both procedures and maximize results.
Thank you for your question. Doing both simultaneously is technically possible, but it’s a complex decision. Combining them means you’ll have one recovery time, which can be more convenient and may help you return to daily activities sooner. However, recovery will be more challenging as multiple areas of healing. However, suppose you decide to have them separately; doing the Lipo 360 BBL first is often advised to give your body time to adjust, for the skin to retract after liposuction, and for the fat transplanted to the buttocks to stabilize. After that, to address any remaining areas of concern, you can move on with the Mommy Makeover.
Any time we are considering a fat transfer to breast or buttocks, it is usually best to perform the fat transfer first. This sequence will allow you to appropriately offload pressure on the buttocks for the best take of the fat and will allow your surgeon to be a bit more aggressive in harvesting the fat, which will give you more volume during the transfer. After this, tummy tuck or other body contouring procedures can be performed as normal.
Fat injection into the buttocks, known as BBL is an extremely risky procedure with high rate of mortality. I do not recommend it. It will not even give a firm esthetically pleasing athletic buttocks but a soft buttock that may look good on a picture but that's it. Breast lift or augmentation with abdominoplasty, when done by board certified plastic surgeons will give the best result if you are a good candidate for it.
Thank you for your query! 360 Liposuction with BBL should usually be done first to obtain enough fat for BBL. This can be followed with a tummy tuck and Breast reshaping for Mommy Make over. Please find an experienced board certified Plastic surgeon who can examine you and help you with all your concerns. All the best1
When deciding whether to undergo Lipo 360 with Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) first or a mommy makeover, the recommendation largely depends on your individual body goals, your current physique, and your overall health.Lipo 360 with BBL: This procedure focuses on contouring the body by removing fat from specific areas (like the abdomen, back, and sides) and transferring some of this fat to the buttocks. It's ideal for reshaping and enhancing your waist-to-hip ratio, primarily affecting the midsection and buttocks.Mommy Makeover: This is typically a combination of procedures such as a tummy tuck, breast lift, augmentation, or reduction, and sometimes includes liposuction as well. It's designed to address changes from pregnancy and breastfeeding, focusing on the abdomen and breasts, and can also include other areas. For the "best body shape possible," consider the following:Your Primary Concerns: If your main concern is the appearance of your abdomen and breasts (common post-pregnancy issues), a mommy makeover might be more suitable. If you're more focused on enhancing your overall body contour and adding volume to your buttocks, Lipo 360 with BBL could be the right choice.Recovery and Timing: Both procedures require significant recovery time. If you plan to have both eventually, the order can depend on recovery considerations. Some prefer to start with the procedure they feel is most important to them.Health and Lifestyle: Your current health and lifestyle are crucial factors. Discuss with your surgeon your medical history, current health status, and lifestyle to determine which procedure is suitable to start with.Consultation with a Plastic Surgeon: A detailed consultation with a board-certified plastic surgeon is vital. They can assess your body, discuss your goals, and recommend the best course of action. They might suggest one procedure over the other based on how each will affect your body and how the results will align with your desired outcome. Each body is unique, and so the approach should be personalized. The “best” procedure first is the one that aligns closely with your personal goals, health status, and the changes you wish to see in your body.
This is a hard question to answer without photos. A mommy makeover typically involves a breast procedure and a tummy tuck with liposuction. This will give the most dramatic results. If you have excess or loose skin, this is the best procedure. Lipo 360 and a BBL will improve the contour of your trunk and enhance your buttock. A combination of these procedures is often required. Visit with a Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon to answer your question and provide a unique surgery plan for you.
Dear LIV425,if you don't want them together, then it is probably better to get BBL first and mommy makeover later. If you are considering surgery, I would suggest you consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination, you will get more information and recommendations.Daniel Barrett, MDCertified, American Board of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery
The decision to undergo either a Liposuction 360 with Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) or a Mommy Makeover first depends on various factors, including your individual goals, overall health, and the specific procedures involved. It's important to consult with a board-certified plastic surgeon who can assess your unique situation and provide personalized recommendations. Here are some considerations for both options:Liposuction 360 with BBL First:If achieving enhanced contours, particularly in the buttocks and surrounding areas, is a primary goal, starting with Liposuction 360 and BBL may be preferred. This procedure can address excess fat in multiple areas, sculpting the body and providing added volume to the buttocks.Mommy Makeover First:If you have concerns related to changes in the breasts and abdomen, such as sagging breasts, excess abdominal skin, and weakened muscles (diastasis recti), a Mommy Makeover might be prioritized.A Mommy Makeover typically includes procedures like a breast lift, breast augmentation, tummy tuck, and liposuction, addressing multiple areas simultaneously.Your surgeon will evaluate your overall health, discuss your aesthetic goals, and consider factors such as recovery time, surgical complexity, and your preferences when determining the most suitable order for these procedures. It's important to note that combining procedures in a single surgery, such as Liposuction 360 with BBL and a Mommy Makeover, is also an option for some patients. However, the decision should be based on your specific needs, health considerations, and the surgeon's recommendations. Always have a detailed discussion with your plastic surgeon to develop a personalized plan that aligns with your goals and ensures optimal safety and outcomes.
Thank you for your question. I perform many BBL & tummy tuck combo procedures at my practice. But, if you're considering having the procedures done individually, then it makes sense to do the tummy tuck first. Then 4-5 months later, a BBL can be performed. The reason being that if you have significant excess skin and you get liposuction in that area, the area will look wrinkled, scarred, and irregular. Also doing significant liposuction on the abdomen and then having a tummy tuck later can predispose you to wound healing complications after the tummy tuck. I would recommend getting a proper evaluation by a board certified plastic surgeon. Take care, Moises Salama MD, Board Certified Plastic Surgeon
