Unfortunately the stretch marks in the upper part of the breast cannot be removed following a breast uplift / augmentation. The excess skin is removed from the lower part of the breast. You do need to be aware that the stretch marks may actually become a bit more stretched and prominent following an uplift / augmentation as the breast that is lax and deflated at the moment will be fuller and firmer after the procedure, thereby stretching out the overlying skin. This may be more noticeable immediately after the procedure, but should hopefully be less so as the swelling settles in 3 to 6 months.
Thank you for sharing your question and photograph. Unfortunately based on the location of your stretch marks they can not be removed during the breast lift portion of your procedure. There are no good treatment options for stretch marks other than cutting them out but because you do not have significant skin excess yours will not be affected. Hope this helps.
Yes, stretch marks can be treated and improved, but not at the time of your augmentation. In our practice we have had excellent results with a combination of Erbium laser treatments along with microneedling/radiofrequency. This requires a series of treatments that can begin before augmentation and continue after augmentation. Best of luck to you.
Hi there, Thank you for your question. Unfortunately they can not be removed. There is not a sure way to treat stretch marks... yet. Best, realdrsix
Hello and thank you for the question and photo. Sorry, the stretch marks on the top part of your breasts would not be removed with a breast lift procedure. Most of the skin is removed from bellow the areolae and only some skin is removed from above and around the areolae. You will probably have less stretch marks after surgery, but how much less is hard to tell without an in person examination. This should not discourage you because the results will enhance your breasts and will make the stretch marks less noticeable.Best of luck,Dr. Miguel Mota
Unfortunately, stretch marks can not be removed while performing a breast augmentation. Good luck with the augmentation.
Breast augmentation and breast lift surgery will not remove the stretch marks. There is no real treatment that removes stretch marks completely but there are things that can improve the quality of the skin such as radiofrequency and laser treatments. Take care.Timothy A. Janiga MD, FACS
Unfortunately, stretch marks cannot be removed. These will still be present following your breast lift and augmentation procedure.
Unfortunately, you will still have stretch marks after any procedure on your breasts. During a tummy tuck, most of the stretch marks are removed as they are usually on the lower part of the abdomen (where the skin is removed as parts of the procedure). Unfortunately for you, the skin that is removed as part of a mastopexy is on the bottom of the breast. An implant will fill out your breasts and will decrease the appearance of your stretch marks, but will not make them go away.
The location of your striae would make it difficult to remove all of the marks during a breast lift procedure. However there would be some improvement. How much improvement can be demonstrated during your consultation.
I'll try shed some light over your case and situation, I detect several conceptual errors in your understanding and patient information, among which be so kind to find the following ones, not limited to them: -no one breast implant is "fully sub muscular", and yours is not an exception; your...
Bruising from the tape that is still persistent at 4 weeks is a bit long. Follow up with your surgeon. Most likely it's just an extended time however a hematoma should be excluded.
It looks ok based on your photo. Be sure to check in with your plastic surgeon about this. Enjoy your new look!
