I'm three weeks post b/a. Everything seems to be fine, scars healing well and swelling has significantly went down. However, the bottom of my left breast hurts if the sports bra is on for too many hrs and even to touch it's tender and hurts. Is this normal? The right breast is not giving me any issues at all. Also I am a lefty i'm not sure if that plays any part.

Answer: Tender touch/pain under boob 3 weeks after breast augmentation normal? Hello TeePee112.Yes, it is normal for you to have some tenderness in your breasts 3 weeks out from breast augmentation surgery. It is also very common for one breast to hurt and not the other. I suggest you speak with your plastic surgeon about your symptoms and request some help to treat your ongoing tenderness. Best wishes, Dr. ALDO :-)

Answer: Tenderness after surgery Thanks for your question. At three weeks after surgery it would not be unusual to experience an area of tenderness in the location you are describing. It is also possible that your bra is putting pressure on the incision, resulting in pain. I suggest you follow-up with your plastic surgeon to check if this is the case, and see if they have any recommendations for bra choice after surgery. Take care.
