Lumpy stomach after Lipo. What are my options? (Photo)

I’ve had lipo on my stomach several years ago. I noticed within months how uneven it looked and went back to the surgeon. He simply numb the area of concern and tried to suck out the unevenness. Well as you can see it didn’t work and now my stomach is so embarrassing. I only weight 126 and am 5’3”. What are my options? Surgical and/or non surgical.

This will require an exam to determine if a revision will help.  You need to find someone who really understands underlying abdominal musculature to produce as natural a result as possible.  To correct this in a fit person is much more challenging.   Find an American Board of Plastic Surgery board certified plastic surgeon with ELITE credentials (education, experience, training) who performs hundreds of TTs and liposuction revisions each year.  Then look at the plastic surgeon's website before and after photo galleries and read patient reviews.Kenneth Hughes, MD, Board Certified Plastic SurgeonLos Angeles, CA

For best results, I recommend a hi definition procedure like a VASER liposuction revision. In your photo I notice you have stretch marks. I seldom agree to suction and abdomen, and will not do it if stretch marks are present, because the skin is too thin and stretched. It will not snap back and give a  smooth result. Although repeated liposuction might improve your results, if the original was poorly done with uneven amounts removed, I suspect you may be wiser to consider an abdominoplasty

At this point I think your issue is more skin related than adipose related. You could try more liposuction or something noninvasive like coosculpting, but I think these would only be half measures. I'd advise a full tummy tuck. This would flatten ypur abdomen, get rid of your stretch marks, and also take care of the extra skin above your belly button.

I'm sorry to hear you are not happy w/ your results. I would consider tummy tuck surgery at this point. That excess skin and areas of irregularity would likely be physically removed. Recovery for this procedure is more than with the liposuction alone, but it has gotten better over the years with newer techniques and injectable numbing medications. Best wishes.
