Already discussed with my neurologist about my desires and he is on board... My MS is stable and he is willing to give me medical clearance. Also thinking of lipo sculpture and BBL ... any input or experienced appreciated
Answer: BA candidate Dear Loveharmony13,as long as your MS is under control and you get a clearance from your neurologist, you should be fine. If you are considering a surgery, I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.Daniel Barrett, MD Certified, American Board of Plastic Surgery Member, American Society of Plastic Surgery Member, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery

Answer: Find the right surgeon to help you? Far more important than the technique is the skill and experience of your plastic surgeon. Choose your surgeon rather than the technique and let them explain why one technique may be better than another. See the below link on some suggestions on finding the most qualified Plastic Surgeon for a Breast Augmentation. Always insist on a board certified plastic surgeon.

Answer: Breast Augmentation There are many conditions that allow for safe performance of breast augmentation surgery. Having clearance from your neurologist certainly helps the process along. It is best to consult with a board-certified plastic surgeon in your area and have a detailed discussion about your overall health and the results you are seeking. Partnering with your surgeon will allow you to develop a long-term relationship and make sure you get what you are looking for in both the short and long-term. Best wishes on a great result.

Answer: MS Thank you for your question. There is no reason why you could not proceed now that you have clearance from your neurologist. Best to discuss surgical plans with your plastic surgeon. He/she will guide you as to what procedures are best to do at one time. Good luck.

Answer: MS and elective surgery You will need clearance from your doctor. However, if your doctor clears you, there are no significant barriers to breast surgery. Since your wishlist contains several procedures, an in person consultation is definitely appropriate to determine if you are a candidate. Then all appropriate pre-operative work up can be undertaken.
