BBL and smaller waist, how dangerous is it to remove some ribs?

I was thinking about a bbl taking fat from my love handles , flanks, abdomen also when I consult with a doctor he said he can also give me a small waist , I heard from a friend that had a bbl done she said that to get her waist small the doctor broke off some of her ribs . Is that true it so how dangerous is that for your long term health

This depends upon the number of ribs removed and where they are located, but in general the ribs offer protection of underlying organs.

In my surgery training, ribs are only removed for medical indications like cancer.  The ribs protect the underlying abdominal organs and the lungs.  High risk for a smaller waist!  BBL should help the waist to hip ratio as does weight loss.

Good afternoon. Thanks for your question.  I will never recommend something like that. I don't think that's the best thing to do. You can get really nice results with liposuction and bbl alone, not removing your ribs. It is dangerous for me.

I have been doing cosmetic surgery for over 25 years -- this is the first time I have heard of a doctor doing this. I would suggest that it is not an accepted practice and would think that it is not Advilsable.
