Help! I got a BBL yesterday and my garment is too tight

Good afternoon. Thanks for your question. My dear, I recommend you to USE your garment for at least 3 months 24 hours a day.  It is important for your body shape. and also, it will be better for you to talk with your surgeon about changing your garment to the second stage, which is tighter. 

You are on a very recent post op, is not a good idea asking on forums at this moment. You loose time. Your best option is your Doctor, call him and tell him whats going on. He will give you all his attention and follow you with your problem. Maybe he needs to see you on person .RegardsDr Hernandez Pizzoglio

If the garment is too tight, then it can be a problem. Some surgeons do not even use garments. Speak with your surgeon.

Did your PS place the garment on you at the end of the surgery or was this a garment that you chose and purchased on your own? It is typical for the garment to feel tight. I purposely put one size smaller than what is comfortable on my patients. It is very common and normal to swell after surgery. The garment will feel tighter and tighter over several days as you swell more and more over the days to follow surgery. Between 1-2 weeks after surgery, you will start to shrink in size and the original garment will become loose. The garment is very important. By taking it off, you are allowing even more swelling to occur and an increased chance of a seroma. You should contact your PS and let them decide if  the garment is too tight. They also likely stock garments and will have a large size if that is what they recommend. You could purchase the garment and not have to wait 5 days.
