Liposuction with fat transfer to the buttocks is a very common procedure. The recovery period for the brazilian butt lift usually takes up to 2 weeks. Make sure that you don't sit during the recovery period, because it can damage the new fat. Hope this helps.
The healing time for liposuction and fat transfer to the buttocks will involve 1 week off from sedentary work and 6 weeks away from strenuous activity.
Thank you for your question. It is very common to take the liposuction from the abdomen and inject it into the buttock area. The recovery period is dependent on the patient, usually 2 weeks. The main concern is not being able to sit for 2 weeks, I usually recommend laying on your stomach and if you have to you can go on to your side for short periods of time.
A Brazilian butt lift is a safe and effective procedure that combines liposuction of the abdomen hips waist and back and then fat grafting to the gluteal region. This is a safe and effective way to contour the lower body. After a successful Brazilian Butt lift, the fat that remains will stay there for the rest of your life. Like the rest of the tissue in your body this fat will grow and age with you.Choose a board certified plastic surgeon who has done a ton of Brazilian Butt Lifts and has privileges to do this surgery at a local university hospital. This says his credentials have been checked out by fellow Drs. All surgeries carry risk, talk to your plastic surgeon and choose one wisely. Many surgeons, including myself, offer online virtual consultations where you send us your photos and we can estimate the cost. I, like many surgeons, also offer free consultations so that you can be examined and given the most accurate quote.
Thank you for your question. It is very common to transfer fat from the abdomen to the buttock. The healing time is about 2 weeks but vaires from patient to patient. It is important to stay off of your buttock for about 3 weeks after surgery. Laying on your side or stomach and sitting on a donut is what I recommend. Make sure to see a board certified plastic surgeon for an in person consultation to get all of your questions answered and to get an exam as well.Best of luck,Dr. Hisham Seify
Most of my patients can go back to routine activity within a few days but they can not sit on their buttocks for 2-3 weeks.
For my patients, 2 weeks with no sitting on your backside. Most people are sore and stiff for the first few days to a week and can go back to work thereafter with the aid of offloading cushions if so desired any time after that. Recovery does vary based on fitness level, pain tolerance, etc. I have never seen the word "installed" used in the context of fat grafting....vehicular verbiage. ;)
