Is the pain supposed to be this bad after lipo, 6 days post op? (photos)

Question

Had Abdominal, love handles and back lipo 6 days ago and the pain is still unbearable..can't sleep or move freely without very bad pain. I feel like I've been struck by a truck. I regret doing this so much.

Pain can be variable and can be treated with oral neurontin. I recommend following up with your Doctor about pain management and after care. For liposuction after care, I recommend adding hyperbaric oxygen and lymphatic massage along with your compression to help decrease swelling. To improve your final results, I also recommend adding vanquish for further fat removal, exilis/venus legacy for skin tightening, cellutone/z wave to make the skin smooth, remove scar tissue, and improve the skin’s appearance. We describe the pain to our patients in general terms but again it is hard to know how you will deal with the pain until you have the procedure. It is common to experience discomfort after liposuction.  The bruised areas tend to hurt a little more. If you are still having this much discomfort a week out, I would contact your plastic surgeon for examination to rule out any possible complications.
