QUESTIONS ANSWERED

Asked if I had tuberous breasts some said yes others said they were just saggy. I think they are tuberous. (Photos)

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

It appears as if you just have loss of elasticity of the breast tissue.  Your anatomy demonstrates an unusually large widened gap between the breasts.  Tuberous breasts typically have constricted breast tissue.  It would be best to schedule a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon to discuss what all of your surgical options could be.  A properly dissected breast pocket and implant could potentially bring the breasts closer together.  The breast bone will dictate/limit what the plastic surgeon can do for you.

Six month post cheek liposuction and FaceTite on neck and face (Photo)

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

As we age, we naturally lose fat volume in the face.  This fat loss along with the aging skin process causes the skin to sag.  Your before photos represent what most women are trying to achieve with dermal fillers to replace loss of volume and achieve a more youthful appearance.  The non-surgical facial tightening remedies are far below standard and will not compare to a facelift procedure.  You appear as if you would be a great candidate for the facelift procedure.  Most women tolerate the procedure quite well and are fully recovered after three weeks.  I inform my patients that it is one of the least painful procedures I perform and the results are beautiful!

Lipo and/or tummy tuck? Would I be a candidate even after gaining weight with Hashimoto's? (photos)

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

It is advisable to loose as much weight as you can prior to a skin tightening procedure.  Weight loss after skin tightening procedures can result in less than desired results.

What can I do to smooth these ridges out so they softly blend into my face? 1 day post Restylane Defyne. (photos)

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

I would not recommend trying to smooth the product out this early after injection.  You could be experiencing post injection swelling.  These products are very malleable and you could potentially move the product to an area that it was not indicated for.  I would contact the PA for possible evaluation if you have any post injection concerns.

How long would I need to take off for work as a wax specialist after my BA?

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

I have a lot of patients who return to work in 3-4 days depending on the work that they perform. I would check with your plastic surgeon to see what restrictions they will require you to be on.

How long does it take the body to absorb excess saline after breast implant removal?

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

The excess saline has probably already absorbed.  You may be collecting serous fluid in the pocket from the implant removal.  It would be best to contact your surgeon.

Why are my feet and ankles swollen after surgery?

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

It is common for the feet/ankle area to swell after the liposuction procedure.  I instruct my patients to elevate their feet, frequent ambulation and monitor the amount of sodium in the diet during the recovery period to help reduce the swelling.

Am I a good candidate for a tummy tuck? What kind of results can I expect? (Photos)

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

You look as if you would benefit from the tummy tuck procedure.  This procedure would remove the excess abdominal skin and tighten up the abdominal wall.  Prices vary depending on where you live.  The cost in our area varies.  Approximate cost in the Midwest $6,500-$8,000.

Breast Implant Revision with Lift 700cc HP Silicone Implants

2001 I had my first BA with 535cc smooth round saline implants over the muscle. Implants over time (19 years) bottomed out and started rippling. Time to trade in the old girls for some much needed younger girls. After lot of research and several different consultations with several different doctors, I finally found the right doctor and decided to do a breast revision exchange, a lift and an areola reduction and I couldn't be happier with my results. Dr. Stacy Peterson is an artist especially when it comes to doing lifts and areola reductions, his work is incredible, and he has the best bedside manor with the most amazing staff. I am less than 24 hours post op in pictures. I had a full anchor lift, areola reduction with 700cc HP Silicone Implants. No bleeding, minimal bruising and swelling and my pain was extremely minimal. Great experience. Updated on 13 Feb 2020:

Breast Implants Ruptured

Dr Peterson and all his staff have been amazing since I first contacted them. My implants I had for 37 years ruptured and needed removed. A friend recommended Dr Peterson and I had a consultation with him and he was so kind and explained everything. I did not want to have them replaced and he did not try to talk me into doing something I didn't want (my friends doctor talked her into it when she didn't want them replaced)--he just explained to me what they would look like. Honestly, since I only had a size B implanted, they don't look a lot different than they did before he removed them. I couldn't be more satisfied with Dr Peterson and his amazing staff!

Try to sleep im a recliner amd drink all the water possible. Stay on top of the pain meds the first 24 hours! It makes it easier to tolerate! Drink lots of water, wear the compression garment, and avoid salty foods!!

Female, 54 Years Old, and Tired of my 11 Year Old Cyst!

After 11 years, I was ready to get rid of what I thought was just a cyst. I went to a dermatologist and decided on a steroid injection to reduce the swelling and thought that would be the end of it. The swelling went away but the bump remained. To avoid scarring, I was advised to go to an ENT to have the "cyst" removed from the inside of my nose. Unfortunately, what I thought was the remains of a cyst turned out to be excess cartilage. The ENT was not comfortable doing the procedure so he recommended I see a plastic surgeon.

41 Years Old, 1 Child

I have always felt I needed just a little more up top to fill out my clothes better. I had consultations with 3 other doctors before Dr. Perterson and always left feeling uncomfortable or judged. Dr. Peterson has been fantastic from the moment I walked into the office. I had breast augmentation done and no regrets.

From my first appointment to surgery to my follow up, Dr. Peterson was so kind and understanding of my needs. I feel great and never experienced any pain from my procedure. I'm thrilled with my results. My only regret is I should have done this long ago.
