Would 325cc high profile or 300 moderate profile be better for a natural C cup? (Photos)

Question

Hi, I'm looking to be a natural C cup so I was wondering would it be better 325 high profile or 300 moderate profile? I would like to fit my body, but I don't want something over a C. I also don't want to have the upper line and want a natural cleavage (a little space between the boobs). I am kind of looking to have a pear shape boob but with round implant! I am 5 ft 6 and 128 lbs, 34A! Here I have picture of my body, of my boobs to help you and picture of breat augmentation that I like! Thank you very much!

I would really need to examine you myself and measure your chest, but based on your photos and stats I lean towards the Mod Plus 325cc choice- I think the HP may be too narrow for your chest and may leave you with an awkwardly wide gap!

I appreciate your question very much! Both of the breast implants mentioned seem like really good options. Most often, the breast implant with less projection seems more natural. However, the choice should be made by you in consultation with your plastic surgeon. Part of the decision making process should include your breast measurements, and importantly, measurements for your breast base width (BBW). You should also consider the newer silicone implants such as the Natrelle Cohesive, Soft Touch or the Mentor XTRA as the silicone gel is designed to resist deformation and will likely lead to better cleavage when compared to the older gel designs.

Hi there, thank you for your question. Actually in terms of size, there is a slight difference between 300 and 325 cc and it's not very noticable from outside. That's why, I suggest you to think about getting moderate or high profile as projection. Also, I think that moderate profile might look better on you.

In my experience, high profile breast implants will usually give results you desire. Gels will take on a pear shape under the muscle.

Although your question is a good one, it is not a particularly useful exercise to try to figure how many cc's would give what sort of a look. It is an impossible question to answer until that implant is positioned in the breast at the time of surgery. The most common reason for a patient to be unhappy after breast augmentation relates to size-either too big, or not big enough. In our office there are three elements that go into the decision regarding implant selection, and we rarely go to surgery with only one size. First I interview all my patents to learn exactly what their goals are "in words". Then I examine and measure to see what implant dimensions would "fit" into her breasts. You cannot put a size 4 shoe on a size 8 foot. We then have an understanding of which base width would be suitable, but for that exact width there are at least 4 different implants that might fit (low profile, moderate plus, high, or ultra high) and this relates to "the look" one is trying to achieve-conservative (natural) ballerina or exaggerated "augmented" look with round and very large breasts, or perhaps something in between. We then use onlay forms that will show you what you are likely to look like in an unpadded bra. Finally, we ask all of our patients to use our "What Size Should I Be" functionality on our website that allows you to plug in your height, weight, and current bra size. This will bring up all of the patients in our gallery who fit your demographic and can give you a visual idea of what you can expect after your surgery, remembering always that no two patients are exactly the same.

The most important step for you is to determine who is the best surgeon for you based on his or her before and after gallery, and if your interaction with your surgeon and his or her office staff feels right. Finally, be sure that your own sense of aesthetics aligns with that of your surgeon. Best of luck to you.

For my patients, we really focus on breast diameter since a bigger implant can make you look heavier if it is too wide. So anything that is within the diameter (or width of the implant) will be good. A higher profile just means there is more projection but it hopefully will be within the goal for diameter.  I can't guarantee a specific cup size since there is no standardization in bras and we think in terms of cc's. We usually encourage pts to go slightly bigger if they are choosing between two sizes. Make sure to see a board certified plastic surgeon with experience with breast.

I would go with the larger implant. It isn’t much larger than the 300 cc, but both sizes are pretty conservative. Nether size will make you too large.
