In my practice, I've found the MENTOR Volume Sizing System to be very helpful for my patients. It allows you to "try on" various sizers in the office so that you can see and feel how you will look with any given size of implant. Another important consideration for you is that silicone implants are unfortunately considered “off label” by the FDA if used in a patient under the age of 22, which could void any implant warranty. While you could instead opt for saline, silicone implants often offer a superior result. I recommend consulting with multiple board-certified plastic surgeons prior to surgery in order to ensure that your goals are best met. Good luck!

Thank you for your post. Breast Augmentations are great simple procedures to meet some cosmetic goals. At the age of 21 the FDA recommends saline implants unless there is a reason to offer silicone gel implants. Either way I would recommend the implant to be placed under the muscle.
