It looks like you have some loose skin above your belly button, so a full tummy tuck would most likely be more suitable for you. Whether it is drainless or not depends on the experience of your surgeon and their medical opinion.

This depends on the amount of correction you want to achieve. Many patients do not want the longer scar from traditional tummy tuck. If you do not mind still having some excess skin, a mini could remove the bit of excess skin above your C section incision. If you want to be as tight as possible, a full tummy tuck would be the way to go. Best of luck. It is a rare individual in whom the mini TT produces the best result. Would recommend that you consider a short scar TT (The shorter scar it leaves is the same length as that of the mini TT) tightens the muscles, and removes skin and fat. The incision is so low, almost to the level of the leg crease, that bikini underwear and swimsuits may be worn afterwards. It creates a scar which is flat all the way across and is not a smiley face. This way the ends of the scar never rise above low cut clothing. The short scar TT also creates a more youthful belly button.

To be able to have a good result from that procedure, you have to be able to say that you are completely happy with the appearance of the upper abdomen and it looks like you have some skin laxity and stretch marks above the umbilicus, so I think you would benefit much more from a full tummy tuck. In addition, you also could likely benefit from a full muscle repair but only an exam would determine for sure.

As for the "drainless" tummy tuck, I would beware of this as most often it is a marketing ploy more than anything else. Drains are not as horrible as everyone makes them out to be and they can prevent problems. Studies shows that over half of people who have "drainless" procedures end up developing seromas that require needle drainage anyway...in my opinion better to prevent the problem up front than deal with it after the fact.

Make sure you are seeing a plastic surgeon who is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and accept nothing less.

But it really depends on what you're trying to achieve?A mini tummy tuck will get rid of the skin hang at the bottom, so if that's all you're looking for than it can be a quicker procedure with an easier recovery. If you are looking to get out as much looseness in the overall abdominal skin as possible and potentially tighten the abdominal muscles then you would want to consider a tummy tuck

A mini tummy tuck will nicely improve the lower abdomen, but as you appear to have stretch marks extending above the belly button it is probably not the best option for you. The drainless tummy tuck relies on a method called progressive tension sutures (PTS), which I have been using for many years. However a drain at times can actually hasten the recovery even with the PTS technique.
