Swelling and bruising is common after lip injections and can take up to two weeks to resolve.  You can try using ice intermittently on the area and keeping your head elevated for the first few days to help minimize the swelling.

filler used to restore lost volume in and enhance the appearance of the face. Swelling is normal for 2 weeks after a treatment. At that time final results are seen. I recommend that my patients apply cold compresses such as ice packs and sleep on a extra pillow if possible to reduce swelling. Please

Thank you for your question and picture. Swelling after Juvederm is common, and can be present for about 2 weeks. Your swelling should improve over time, especially in the next 2 days. If you notice increased redness or warmth, please be sure to contact your board certified plastic surgeon.
