Thank you for sharing your question and photographs.  I do agree that you appear to have dog ears from your tummy tuck, likely worsened in appearance due to swelling created by liposuction.  Once your liposuction results have matured I would recommend having the excess, gathered tissued along your sides surgically removed with a small, in-office procedure.  Hope this helps.

Hi, TBaby41.  I appreciate your concern that you may have dog ears,  Because you just had liposuction, the post-op swelling is going to distort things and will take some time to see the final results. Often times, the skin remodeling following liposuction will be sufficient to correct small post-abdominoplasty dog ears or will make a subsequent dog ear revision surgery easier and more successful.  Best of luck, and I hope you have a fantastic final result!

From your photographs, I can see a very small amount of dog ears on each side. Should after a few more months, these don't settle down, you may need a small touch up with a skin excision. Follow up with your plastic surgeon. Best of luck.
