Thanks for your question! You are definitely still healing. You likely still have swelling and changes will still take place. Please be patient, but if you don't want to wait, you can always seek a second opinion. Good luck!
Hello, thank you for your question. You are in the healing process, give yourself time to heal. After this if you still unhappy you can schedule a consultation for a second opinion, I recommend you to visit a board certified plastic surgeon.
Thank you for your question. Yes, you can have a revision of your neck. My impression is that you have a unusual amount of scar tissue provably for a residual seroma but a see room for improvement
It's difficult to discuss a result unless we know how it looked before and exactly what was done. If the skin was much heavier and you have a big improvement that's one thing. See an experienced facelift surgeon with these pieces of information and you can probably get better answers.
It is too early to evaluate your result. It takes good 12 months in your age for result to mature. It will improve, you just have to be patient. Possibly Botox injection to decrease activity of platysma muscle (30-50 units); there are some other beneficiary effects of Botox on scar maturation that we still do not understand. Be patient, please.
Dear shears12Thank you for your question and photos! You may have had some fluid that has firmed up in that area- AND IT IS STILL HEALING. It is difficult to assess just from photos - so your best approach is to get a second in person opinion. With Warm RegardsTrevor M Born MD
Dear shears12,Thank you for your question. As your surgery was in February, you are still very early on in the healing process. At this time it is far too soon to judge the final results. However, if you are still having concerns I suggest following up with your Board Certified Operating Surgeon. Best of luck to you.
Hello shears12, Thank you for sharing your images and concerns. While I know you are disappointed in how your neck looks currently, it is still early in the overall healing process and time may result in a smoother appearance and softening of the tissue firmness. There is nothing to be done at this early a stage but give the tissues time to heal. Any considerations of revision procedures would be at least 6-12 months from now. I know it can be frustrating to just have to wait it out, but that along with some massage is the best option. I hope that is helpful, and I hope that the results improve with time. All my best! Dr. Elizabeth
Hello - sorry to hear about your difficulty. It would be nice if your neck looked better now, but truthfully some of those wrinkles may be related to fluid and hardening after some liposuction. It is likely that it will continue to look better. For now I'd do massage gently. With the current shut down of practices it is a necessity that you wait anyway and this is helpful. When everything is open again come see a facial plastic surgeon and there may be an easy solution.
Thank you for sharing your question and photographs and I am sorry to hear of your current disappointment. I would allow your results to mature for at least 6-9 months before entertaining any type of revision, if needed.
