I inadvertently pressed really hard and am wondering if i could have fractured it since the tip of the bone is said to be thin. It was red where i was pressing..but no swelling occured. How much force is required to break it?

I'd rather consider your central vault is too large the mostly the tip is oversized; I'd also say you have very broad bony pyramid. Based on that you must research a surgeon with experience in tip surgery.
