So I recently went to the first appointment for plastic surgery in my local (private) hospital. My right breast is droopy but pretty normal. My left one though is much bigger and points down, which bothers me a lot. They are tubular. The dr said he has to use the same technique on both so the procedure works and insisted on making my right one more lifted "so it's at the level of the fold". Is he in the right? I just wanted the left one to be similar to the right, which I like..

Answer: Breast lift Dear Sulgunwhale, it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. If you are considering surgery, I would suggest you consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination, you will get more information and recommendations. Answer: Is it bad to only want to have a lift on one breast even though the other one is also drooped below the fold? Hello @Sulgunwhale, thank you for your question. It is important that the patient discusses this with their treating physician so that together, you can come up with a solution that meets the patient's expectations as far as surgery can go, in order to improve the patient's condition and provide long term results. For more information and recommendations is best to consult with one or several board certified plastic surgeons. Best wishes! Alan Gonzalez MD, FACS.
