I recently had a chalazion procedure. A lot of pus was removed. I assumed the appearance of a lump would be reduced. I read another post saying that it will take weeks/months for the body to dissolve the "walls" of the chalazion due to inflammation. Is this true? How long will it take for my eyelid to go back to looking normal? Is the appearance of the lump/the feeling of a solid mass still being there just the remnants of the chalazion's "walls"? Please give me any more details you have.

Answer: Avoid having more surgery on your chalazia.
You are very early after your procedure and assuredly still swollen and healing. I would follow closely with your surgeon to insure healing proceeds as you'd hope it to. Congratulations on your procedure.
As noted below everyone is recommending an in person evaluation with a board certified plastic surgeon to evaluate your concerns and help make a plan for you. Best of luck.
The best long term approach would be surgical correction via a lower blepharoplasty. If you are wanting improvement without surgery you can use fillers. They work well when combined with other treatments such as lasers, microneedling, and PRP to address skin tone and texture.
