Will I be able to watch a zoom class on my laptop starting the day after my surgery?

It's normal t feel tired the first few days after your surgery. I recommend my patients start walking and get out of bed as soon as possible. The first 3 hours after your surgery, you will still be exhausted and sleepy because of general anesthesia. You will feel much better the following day. You will also be discharged from the hospital so you can go home, relax and join your zoom class with no restrictions. You won't be able to wear glasses for 2 months after rhinoplasty so make sure to switch to contact lenses until you fully recover. Good luck.

You will physically be able to watch a class a day after surgery; however you may find that you do not have much energy and may get tired easily. You should take this into account while planning your activities after your rhinoplasty.

If you don’t have nasal packing, you should not have pain 24 hours after rhinoplasty. Occasionally eyelids can swell shut, but this is the exception, not the rule. Camera off and good luck!

Depending on what kind of surgery you have, if you have a regular rhinoplasty, you will be wearing a cast for about a week after the surgery, which might affect your daily activities. If you have a micro rhinoplasty, you will be returning to work or school the next day.

To minimize swelling you should be putting cold compresses on and off during the first 48 hours but you could easily take time off from that for a zoom class.
