Lipo of thighs and inner knees, calves. What would you suggest? (Photo)

Question

What I hate most about my legs are my calves, knee, and lower thigh area. I work out 6 days a week and naturally have a big lower body. I have had two consultations and they said they could not remove any fat from my calves. They said they could from my thighs, under butt area and inner knee. I don't want to mess with my butt, maybe some from the inner and top of thigh as well as the inner knee, but I don't want my calves to look bigger from that. What would you suggest? Age: 35

Calf liposuction... does not exist... it is a legend, a myth; when calves are thick is due to the muscular shape and size, the bones may influence too, and as is quite understandable liposucion has no role there; I advice you seriously agains calf liposuction.Viewing your pics you have very good skin, firm and without stretch marks, and also compact and good fat deposits on the side flaps at the hips, the inner thigh and the inner knees; those are good areas in your case.

Liposuction may be an option for you, however a definitive physical exam is needed. In your case, lipo sculpting appears to suit you best, however the final result, especially regarding your calves, may not be as dramatic as you desire. Seek out the opinion of a board certified plastic surgeon.

Thighs and inner knees would be reasonable.  Calves would require an exam to make a determination.  I
would search for the board certified plastic surgeon who you feel is
most likely to give you the best results and who performs hundreds of
these procedures each year. I would look at patient reviews as well as

While the calfs can be treated by liposuction, the question is how effective it would be. An exam can tell whether your calfs are bigger than you like essentially because of the size of the calf muscles or whether there is enough subcutaneous fat to justify a liposuction effort. Larger muscular calfs can be reduced by partial myotomies.

Liposuction of the thigh and the inner knee can give smooth and predictable results with care and caution.The calf is another matter as there is little fat to contour and imperfections easy to create. Suctioning in the calf for all the potential problems also can have an under whelming result for the effort. I agree with you, do not suction the butt, and with your surgeon, avoid the calf.

Calf liposuction can be difficult to get a uniform and smooth result. Although it can be done, I would consult with a plastic surgeon who has experience performing liposuction in this area. Thighs and knees are pretty straightforward and you should get a very nice result.For the best results seek the consultation of a plastic
surgeon certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. They have a website
listing all the certified plastic surgeons. Members of the American Society of
Aesthetic Plastic Surgery will all be board certified in plastic surgery and
have demonstrated an interest and competence in cosmetic plastic surgery as
well.

Thanks for your question. Unfortunately
your photo does not show the lower leg well, so it is not possible to assess
the transition from ankle to calf. This is a very sensitive area to liposuction
because any excess removal of fat can create a very visible contour deformity.
I do not feel the contouring you desire in your thighs is going to make your
calves look larger. Good luck with your decision.
