First of all, it's important to understand why You are on prednisone, and whether or not you're a candidate for elective cosmetic surgery. In our practice, when patients are on prednisone, most of the fat is located below the platysma muscle which will need to be removed with a lower face and neck lift procedure. Best to get clearance from your primary care physician. Removal of fat with liposuction will only make the skin issue worse
