Rest easy. A 5-10 minute nap on your side likely didn't cause any harm. In general it's preferable to keep even pressure on the areas so one side doesn't get more pressure than the other. We're realistic that it's not always possible to sleep on your back all night long. These are just guidelines.

I read your question with great enthusiasm because I do a LOT of neck liposuction in my practice.  You are fine!  Don't worry, you didn't cause any harm.When we do liposuction, we either remove fat or we did not remove fat.  The patient can't shift it around too much or cause any harm with positioning.  I should mention that fat grafting (e.g. BBL) is a different issue because pressure can crush the fat that is injected.Sleep well.  You're fine!

It is hard to imagine that resting on your side for a few minutes will have any impact on your outcome.  You should however make certain that you contact your physician for a comprehensive set of instructions.  Hope you have an easy recovery!

I do not think that sleeping on your side for a short period of time would have any effect on the results from the liposuction you just had under your chin.  In general, it is best to try and sleep with your head elevated higher than your chest, as this will help decrease swelling.  The compression garment you have will help as well.
