2008 Sub muscular aug. After surgery-Screaming of pain. Eight years of suffering because I've always wanted breast- how would I know the difference between a heart attack and this.

As my colleagues have suggested, you are best evaluated in person by an experienced board certified or board eligible plastic surgeon. If you are as symptomatic as you suggest, a revision surgery by conversion to an "above the muscle" implant position might allow you to achieve a functionally improved outcome that remains aesthetically pleasing to you. Thank you for your question.  I recommend you seeing your original PS if you are still in the area where you had it done.  It is possible you can have capsular contracture , however, if not, he or she may send you for a mammogram and go from there.

Hello and thank you for your excellent question. You are correct that there is no good reason that you should be this uncomfortable.  I suggest that you seek face to face consultation to evaluate your symptoms. Any treatment plan should be based on a detailed discussion with equal input from both you and your surgeon.    Make sure you specifically look at before and after pictures of real patients who have had this surgery performed by your surgeon and evaluate their results.   The most important aspect is to find a surgeon you are comfortable with. I recommend that you seek consultation in person with a qualified board-certified plastic surgeon. Good luck!
