Thank you for sharing your question.  Breast implant sizing is an inexact science, relative to a woman's bra measurement, as there is no direct correlation between cc size and cups.  As your chest is apparently wider, each cc will impact your cup size to a lesser degree than a woman with a more narrow chest.   In most instances in patients with your frame 475cc will result in a bra size larger than a C.The exact size will be unknown, but remember that it is better to fit your bras to your breasts rather than the other way around.  Hope this helps

From what you have described it appears that the 475cc implants will make you a D cup. Not a C cup. The style and size of  the implant is important and should be based on your breast measurements.I hope this has helped.

Without photos and the  benefit of physical exam- it's difficult to give you the best answer. Also, it's useless to discuss cup size because most all bra manufacturers do not consult with Plastic Surgeons to correlate implant size to cup size. We try to focus on your look and feel and then whatever cup works- it works. Look and feel are most important.

Implant volume does not correlate with cup size exactly.  You are best to try on bras once your implants are in and have settled.

Typically, patients who start at a B will be between a C or a D with 475 cc breast implants.  Also, the amount of increase is partially dependent on the surgeon's surgical decisions. Your surgeon should be better able to guide you on the expected increase as he or she knows the scope of the surgery and the specifics about you.

Cup size varies depending upon the specific bra you choose. Only general guestimates are made preoperatively, but you should increase several cup sizes with that large of an implant. Consult with a board certified plastic surgeon- best of luck.

Bras are not all built to a standard size, but with an implant of 475 cc's, most women gain at least two cups in volume.
