I definitely see the irregularities along the helix to which you refer. These can be smoothed out by simply cutting out the extra skin and cartilage. A simple procedure but can be very tricky to get exactly right and then it is very noticeable. I would leave it alone.
It is possible to get an improvement but because there is calcified scar in the cartilage it is not as easy as a typical ear pinning surgery and if enough of the the cartilage is hardened something cartilage needs to be moved around.
