Thanks for your question.  Although not common, you do appear to be suffering from a topical skin reaction to adhesive or tape used with your external splint.  There are typically several ways to address this - all based on severity.  It will remit with time alone, but topical or oral steroid medications can help relieve this faster.  Please talk with surgeon!  They will be familiar with this and help treat you with the option best for you.

Allergies to adhesives are quite common, and based on your description and the photos provided, this could definitely be the cause of your issues. Most of the time these issues resolve relatively quickly simply by removing the inciting agent (the adhesive), but sometimes topical steroid treatments can be helpful. Talking with the surgeon who performed the rhinoplasty would be the first step.

First I would send a picture to your surgeon. This could be glue reaction or a burn. The treatment for each is different so please contact your surgeon to work this out further. I hope that helps!
