Elevated AST and ALT and getting a rhinoplasty.

December 19, 2016
Asked By:the_new_k in Brooklyn, NY

I have a rhinoplasty scheduled in a month and my recent blood work came back with my AST and ALT levels a bit higher than the norm. I do not drink at all and we already ruled out Hepatitis B and C, so it's likely that something else is causing these enzymes to be elevated (possibly a high protein diet according to my doctor). My question is, if I'm completely healthy and with my liver enzymes being a bit higher than the norm, would I have to reschedule my rhinoplasty??
