Hi I've had multiple chalazions removed from eyelid a 4 weeks ago and it is not fully improved. It is still swollen. The doctor says there is no ptosis but I can clearly see that the eyelids are no longer even. This was not the case before the chalazions. In the second visit 2 weeks ago he did some meibomian gland probing to alleviate the swelling but it did not work to get rid of the inflammation. Is there a chance that the ptosis and swelling will improve over the next year?

The bumps are not unusual and would probably improve without any treatment. The addition of steroid injection usually ensures a satisfactory result. If you are not fully pleased with the appearance, the bumps can simply be excised again. I hope you find this helpful.
If you get 3 consults, you are doing your homework. If you feel the need to see 15 doctors, and then come to this site for more opinions, you are definitely not a good candidate for any type of surgery.
