Want to correct eyelids: should I get a blepharoplasty or another procedure? (photo)

I would like to correct my eyelids, but I am having trouble finding a treatment. I was told that blepharoplasty may overcorrect the problem, but I have been told that I am not a candidate for several non-surgical procedures because they would not resolve the fat and puffiness bothering me. What are the opinions here? Is blepharoplasty my only option? Or is there another issue to correct that I'm not aware of and can bring up to a surgeon? Thank you for your help!

Truly, a conservative upper eyelid surgery is probably the best option for you. The fullness on your eyelid is mostly herniated fat. Have you had thyroid function studies to make sure you don't have Graves' disease?

You have very heavy upper eyelid skin.  The only way to improve this is with a surgical blepharoplasty to remove some of the skin.  If done correctly you will not be over corrected.  Non-surgical modalities will not help here.

Thought an in person exam would be needed, your problem appears to be proptosis, or prominence of the eyeball. Significant improvement can probably be achieved by filler or cheek implant. You need to see a plastic surgeon with experience in this.
